what exactly is "middling"

I see a bunch of references to this but i am not sure what it means.

it is where you have a wager on both sides and you hope for a result that lands in the 'middle' so you would win both.

example: you play Team Favorite -1 point and then the line moves to -3 so you take Team Underdog +3 points. Now if Favorite wins by 2 points you have hit both plays.

i suspected something like that just wasn't sure why i would want to have two sides of the game. Seems to me that kinda takes away the thrill of wagering. of routing for your pick to win it all. just my opinion

actually u get a 3-4 point middle opportunity it makes it even more thrilling when your winding down with a chance of hitting that.the middles t3 is talking about would be you took the rockets -5 for the game and there up 20 at half then you come back and grab the pacers for -4 for the 2nd half u still hit your initial wager but the pacers only lost by 10 that game so u picked up extra cash.

ahhh the lakers its frustrating but im glad its done for the year.grab a coach and try again next year.still my team though just disappointed at their recent efforts.

i completely agree with the new coach thing. Guy is pretty forgettable. No matter though cuz the Lakers will always be my team. Until next year!!!!:drink: :smoker2:
